Questions shop owners ask

Short answers about what RekordPOS does, what it costs and how you pay.

What is RekordPOS?

RekordPOS is point-of-sale and inventory software made in the Maldives by Devcity. It runs on Android, iPhone, the web and Windows, and is billed in MVR.

Does it produce GST reports for MIRA?

Yes. The GST summary report lists taxable, zero-rated and exempt sales and purchases, output tax, input tax and GST payable for a month, a quarter, a year or dates you choose, and exports to PDF. It prepares your figures. It does not file your return with MIRA.

Can it track serial numbers and expiry dates?

Yes. Products can be tracked by serial number, or by batch with an expiry date. An Expired Products screen lists what has expired, and stock adjustments write it off.

Can my customers order online?

Yes. Every business gets an online shop page, and on plans that include it you can use your own domain. Customers pay by bank transfer and upload the slip, and the order arrives in your back office.

Can I run more than one branch?

Yes, on plans that include multiple branches. Stock and sales are kept per branch under one login.

Can customers buy on credit?

Yes. Dues records what each customer owes, takes part payments and shows who to chase.

Is it right for a restaurant or café?

It suits a takeaway counter. For table ordering and kitchen tickets, use RekordPlate, our restaurant product.

Where does it run?

On Android and iPhone, in any web browser, and as a Windows desktop app.

How much does it cost?

The Free plan is free for 7 days. The Business plan is MVR 499 for 30 days. The Enterprise plan is MVR 449 a month, billed yearly at MVR 5,388. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer. Send the transfer slip from the app or the website and your plan is activated.
